Grounding (Practical)

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
  • Visualization Theory
  • Connection Theory
  • Energy Manipulation

REASON FOR TECHNIQUE USE:
  • To allow the body to return to a neutral energy state from a heightened one

BASIC TECHNIQUE(S):
    1. In an area of natural ground covering (soil preferred)
  • Place the palm of your non-dominant hand n the bare ground
  • While keeping your non-dominant hand on the ground place the palm of the dominant hand on the ground
  • After about a minute remove first your non-dominant and then your dominant hand from the ground

    2. In a quiet area
  • Visualize a connection running from the centre of your abdomen deep into the Earth
  • Through visualization allow energy to transfer along the connection to bring the body back to a point of energy equilibrium
  • Once your visualized connection no longer has energy transferring along it withdraw it

TECHNIQUE(S) MODIFICATION:
  • A connection to ground may also be to a remote area, object, or living being (with permission)

TO BE AWARE:
  • If grounding to something other then the Earth the body will seek an equilibrium with the other side of the connection. When the other end of the connection holds more energy than you do your body's energy level will actually increase negating the concept of grounding
  • Because energy may feedback on a grounding connection it is best to set a screen in the connection to neutralize possible incoming energy

TIMELINE:
  • ITB: 60 to 300 seconds depending on technique
  • AAW: Time depends solely on the technique
