I realize I’m far overdue for a blog post since I was supposed to have wound up my larger projects to get back into the community, but then summer came along and took my spare time again. As always I should have more time in the Fall and Winter to work on some new ideas that have been trickling into the community. I’d like to change the focus of the Palatium into a more social library than it is currently, so we’ll have to see what I come up with for that in the time I have to think about redevelopment.

If you’ve been in the chat channel you can still catch me there a few times a week - I’m hoping to increase that again too.

The Psi Palatium isn’t going anywhere, so don’t worry about that — redevelopment and rediscovery are just around the bend!

It’s the beautiful Spring upshift in energy, which happens to be fueling a little cycling of energy within the community as people come back from their adventures and dig into psi again. You’ll notice I haven’t changed up the website as of yet - mostly because I’ve simply lacked the ‘want’ to do it when I have free time. But it will be changing .. eventually.

GoldBear and I continue to trudge along with our projects so they continue to eat into my time and with Spring having sprung I’m getting the yard ready for outdoor parties as usually happens at the homestead in the nice weather. Our house ends up being the gathering spot - both Hera and I enjoy that. Spontaneous gatherings on warm nights are a wonderful way to release stress, gather information and learn new things. Can’t get much better than that.

Where is the Palatium heading you ask? To be honest I haven’t decided yet, but I’m leaning strongly towards an archival library of articles and media. This isn’t to say that we won’t continue to add to the site - it’s just to get rid of all the extras that really we don’t need (and I don’t want to run any more). I still have a couple of hundred articles sitting on my network that need to be gone through and posted so there is loads of new and different information to continue our growth with. Let me get to that point and you’ll start seeing it.

Get involved - get in and chat!

Spring approaches rapidly as the snow is melting quite quickly today. The year is already flying by since we’re almost three months in already. I continue to finish up on work projects that keep me tied up and away from the community.
Away from the community?! Does that mean I’ve given up on psi? Not a chance. Psi isn’t something you give up on - it is a way of life. It’s been 21 years since my awakening under that old Oak tree and I’m not about to turn my back on over two decades of training, learning and reality steering. I do have to admit it’s been a little odd not being available in the Community every day; however it has given me time to write a few new articles and to come up with some new ideas and directions for the Palatium.
I’m also opening things up a little more. I’ve been steering and planning the Palatium for 13 years and would like to have more input as to where we should be heading, ways to increase regular members and things like that. Please email me with your thoughts zeus (at@at) psipalatium (dot.dot) com.

Zeus, where have you been?
A question I’ve been asked more than once recently.

To be honest I’ve been around, but my “free time” has dried up as I have many things on the go as it were. GoldBear and I continue to work on a project that eats a great deal of time and resources, so that’s where I’ve been the last month, or so. There is light at the end of the tunnel, because Beta testing begins soon, which means that the fury of programming is finally coming to a close (until we add something else into the mix). Once the heavy load portion of our little project appears I’m taking a vacation.

That’s right I’m going on vacation - without computers. A little sand, surf, sailing, and relaxing to reward myself for a job well done (and yes my wife is going too). Which means I’ll return to the world of the Palatium in mid February.

As a further note I think I’m going to shake up the Community a little. It’s been 13 years and time for something new. You’ll have to wait until February to hear about those plans though.

At any rate Happy New Year to all and we’ll all talk soon.

We’ve flown into December and as my oldest son is fond of reminding me his birthday is coming up quickly. He let slip it was only 20 days until his birthday about 50 times this morning. Yes, he has a December birthday as he was born at 23:30 on December 22 in the middle of a snow storm. What does that mean to us? Well, seeing as both Hera and my families are rather large we happen into a month long barrage of Christmases and Birthdays. By the time December is over every year I’ve contracted for an addition to the house. Don’t get me wrong I am not complaining as I realize just how fortunate our families are to be able to come together and share with eachother. I’m simply afraid that my children will disappear in the monster amounts of stuff they have. Justification usually comes with the donation of outgrown toys and things to local charities and organizations, so I suppose all the outpouring of love gets paid forward anyways.

Hmmm - paying it forward - that’s a term I’ve been hearing more and more of lately. The best form of paying it forward that I’ve seen is taking the feelings from a kind act someone has done for you and giving that same feeling to another person by doing something for them. It actually works exactly like energy manipulation in psi since one thread of energy charges another, which charges another, which charges another, and so on. I’ve been really attempting to use some of my free time lately to “pay it forward”. The funny thing about it is that the more I do things for others the more I realize that it makes me feel just as good. And due to the cyclic nature of the Paradigm Shift it all comes back to me eventually to make my life better. For people just starting the shift please read my Paradigm Shift series, because it is extremely difficult to get the ball rolling. Once it starts though .. wow.

A friend of mine pointed out last night that I hadn’t updated my blog in nearly two months and people would start to think that perhaps I’d lost interest in psi, or even fallen off the face of the Earth. Let me assure all of you that I have neither lost interest in psi, nor have I fallen off the face of the Earth. I have simply been incredibly busy and haven’t squeezed updating my blog into my daily schedule. Guess it’s time that I change that up a little though.

People in other communities that I haven’t visited recently due to my lack of extra time have been asking me whether I still practice psi. This question always concerns me because psi isn’t something you pick up try a little and then put down. Psi is a way of life. Everything I do everyday has something to do somehow with psi. Whether it be intents that I’ve laid down to establish goals, or information I’ve gathered in order to do something I am constantly using psi in my life. I suppose I find myself using psi for slightly different things being a parent than I would have when I was younger. My wife and I are constantly in flux with work and personal schedules so it’s nice to be able to reconnect with her on issues of mutual interest when we clear our schedules for each other. We also like to stay one step ahead of our sons. It’s not always possible of course, but knowing what the kids are up to at any given time is a real time saver as a parent. When they were younger psi also saved loads of time in deciphering what was wrong and how we could go about soothing them. I realize that this level of psi won’t appeal to everyone since not everyone is married and not everyone has kids. But when I was younger my friend group used to use psi in order to communicate get-togethers and locations where we all were. For the younger set I was a teenager before cell phones were popular and GPS was still a secret military thing, so we would use psi for things that you’d use your smart phone for these days. Making psi an integral part of your life isn’t really that difficult, it just takes some creativity and an open mind. The benefits of a psi-life are worth the effort.

As you all know I’ve postponed the Psychic Reading course due to my full schedule and will be pushing it into 2010. I am expecting a slowdown in the dead of winter for work, so that will give me the necessary time to actually finish writing up everything. I realize that many people are anxious for new material unfortunately it does take a lot of time to put it all together, so you have to be patient. The Psi Palatium has been around for over a decade already - it isn’t like it’s going anywhere.

Those of you that haven’t joined the chat channel regularly should consider doing so. It’s a great community that can have some wonderful conversations if you start them up. Don’t be shy - there’s nothing to lose and a whole new life with psi to gain!

Okay, I really need to get this whole time thing under wraps because having hit the autumnal equinox already is simply mind boggling to me….

The boys are back in school mode and thing are going relatively well. Being up most nights myself trying to keep myself in school mode is an entirely different story. As I get older I find it a little more difficult to motivate the boys and myself. I just can’t wait for hockey season and the 7am games.

Where’s the last month gone? Well, we’ve been renovating the house and that’s pretty much zapped any spare time I have. And if remodeling the inside weren’t enough we’re also doing new fences, a patio, and gazebo over the hot tub. If anyone finds a money tree please let me know — actually never mind - it continues to be a great reason to massage reality for necessary income. Always with the psi somewhere!

Personally I’m doing wonderfully and really needing to switch focus to my quickly approaching deadline for the Circle’s fall classes on Psychic Readings. Don’t worry it’ll all work out in the end - how is a mystery. Or it will be until we know all about precognition!

With Mother Nature having abruptly brought summer to a close it’s a shift in schedules again as I get ready to send the little Olympians back to school.

Construction, renovation, family gatherings, and psi have kept the summer rolling and me as busy as ever (which is why I’ve been lacking in the updates to my blog). Plus my free time has been eaten up by a project that GoldBear is creating for his continuing education. If friends have the means then they can help friends that’s what I mean!

Hercules and I recently did a broadcast empathy test just for fun. I randomly chose 100 vehicles, colours, shapes, fruits and/or vegetables to think of and Herc had to tell me what I was thinking of. He correctly identified 98 out of the 100 random things. This is only one recorded test, so we’ll have to see how he does over time, but it’s quite a positive looking “official” test for what I have always known about his abilities. I’ll keep everyone posted on how he continues to develop with the tests.

Apollo on the other hand is not so much of an empath at this point. His strengths tend more towards PK though he has been working his telepathy as of late which is nice to see. I haven’t gotten to the point with him where I would test him quite yet, but that’ll come as he gets older.

For those younger people that don’t have parents that encourage psi, or help to develop it - sorry. I believe that my kids should know that anything is possible within reason, the rules, and reasonable responsibility. Hopefully they’ll surpass me someday in their specific fields of psi and teach me a few things about Oneness and the Total Self.

It’s been over 10 days! Where have I been??!
Well, to be honest I’ve been quite busy and haven’t been hit by the “writing mood” lately.

Hera has gone on a new schedule for work (which they seem to do to her every three months just to see if I’m paying attention) which leaves me constantly adjusting my schedule to be sure I can be home to watch the boys - or have someone with them while I am … called away. It’s also been interesting because the boys have chicken pox (we’re in the winding down stages now), so I’ve had to be careful with outside contact for them and the many people who seem to have never had the potentially life-threatening illness (didn’t realize that the chicken pox could be deadly? Usually only to us old folks but it happens.). Thankfully both the boys only have a mild outbreak on their arms alone (what “luck” can do), so it hasn’t hampered their energies at all. We’ve had to call off taking them out in public and most of their friends have stayed away, so I’ve had the extra fun of coming up with weeks worth of entertainment. What’d I come up with? To start out they helped me put in a new floor in the playroom - now it’s all sponge soft and you could drop from the ceiling without hurting yourself (good for the budding psychokinetic). With the playroom fully finished all their toys and games came back out of storage so they have 500sqft of fun! It’s been hot outside and they’ve really wanted to go to the splash park and since we can’t go I built them one in the backyard. Okay, so I’m a little on the crazy side with things for the boys but if I can have fun too then it’s totally worth the effort. I’ve been overworking getting the deck supported to hold a hot tub and building a new patio (oh yes and I really must get to building the new fence) so I figured a distraction that could cool me down too would be a brilliant change of pace. With a few pumps, lots of hose and some ingenuity we created a water recirculating, solar powered (must be environmentally friendly .. plus water and hydro are expensive) splash pad. Slipping slopes, sliding streams, moving showers, dumping buckets, slides, pools and inflatable castles with drawbridges. Now I get to work on my projects for awhile and then I can go play too. Why not? As long as you have the energy available you can be as young as you want to be .. right?

Though it seems like my days have been filled with construction and playtime I’ve also been working on my psi (not that I don’t always work on my psi since it’s a way of life but I’ve had dedicated time away too). I’ve been actively working with others to harness new ways of doing old techniques. It’s always interesting to compare notes on what works for everyone and how they go about it. There may just be a faster and more efficient manner to carry out an activity. I’ve also been out in the grove during gatherings and visiting local energetic hot spots. The nice farmers that own the land we go traipsing through I’m quite sure think us odd enough (I gain their permission before setting foot on private land - it’s the right thing to do), but since we don’t destroy anything and they end up with “bumper crops” we have a wonderful agreement. I even get some calls after storms damage their crops as to whether we might be “visiting their fields in the near future”. It’s not that we do a lot to the fields, but if there is energy available the plants will respond - it’s common practice really. Of course it helps that many of us have other outdoor interests such as herbology, botany, bird-watching, etc. so we can be a “naturalists club” to the farmers without having them worry about our “other” activities. It’s all in the marketing They all know the truth of course since I’m open about it, but if they feel better thinking about us as a naturalist club then so be it.

Talk about it, tailor the marketing, and more people than you think will accept it.

Well, I’ve made it around the sun again. That must mean I’m either doing something right, or I continue to amuse the fates so they’re keeping me around. I had a nice laid back day with no plans. Hera and I did some much needed chores and then I took off for a mountain bike adventure for awhile (something I don’t get to do too much of anymore). All in all a great day.

Nothing uber exciting has been happening as far as psi is concerned. Life itself has kept me pretty busy, so I haven’t had time to pursue other interests. Hopefully having wrapped up a couple of projects and starting into fewer new ones I should be able to get more time together to be more social in the Palatium again.
