We’ve wrapped up the second weekend of the two weekend Maple Syrup Festival and that means I’ve finished my 24 hours of talking. Record numbers came out this year for the horse tours (which I lead and give), so I actually ended up running a couple hours longer each day than usual. It’s a good thing someone had the foresight to completely clear those days. That marks the 16th year I’ve done the tours for the family and I’ve already been requested again for next year - talk about booking ahead.
Though I’ve been doing psi all week in between everything else that was on for March Break I’ve really been relegated to the more mundane things that I use psi for in everyday life like keeping tabs on people and figuring out what my sons are up to. I did get a chance to visit with some other Pure Energists since I’ve been out in the woods so much this week. We had a short gathering to discuss new projects et al and it was nice to see everyone again (I don’t always have the opportunity to visit as much as I’d like to).
I thought I’d gotten through my last appointment unscathed but as I’m sitting here typing for the first time in a couple of days I realize now that I’ve broken the baby finger on my left hand. You just never realize how much you use that finger until you need the “a” and shift keys. I suppose the little finger on my right hand may have been worse since that’s my “enter” finger. Oh well, just means I need to schedule in a healing cycle tonight before I get too engrossed in anything else.
This week coming looks to be pretty routine and then my wife heads off for training for a couple weeks leaving the boys and I to fend for ourselves. We’ve done it plenty times before, so it won’t be an issue it just means that I have to make my work schedule that much more flexible. Nothing worth doing is ever really easy … at least that’s what I’m told

Well, it’s been March Break this week and I’ve really attempted to dump as many things, or at least put them off while the boys are home from school. Unfortunately the yard is still slightly swampy to be of much use other than mucking around in the mud - of course that can be fun too. We’ve built and re-built many different things this week and I’ve finally got a handle on this whole Wii phenomenon even if Apollo (the younger one) still regularly beats me at his favourite game. I still think it’s suspect that whenever I’m about to win he tackles me. Somewhere along the line we picked up one of those evil incarnate Wii Fit board things - Hera’s lucky I haven’t thrown that mouthy little thing in the backyard to play in the mud. I won’t even repeat to you how old I was the first time I tried it out, but it was triple digits.
Even with putting off things this week I’ve still been working (the whole money to live aspect) and though I’m behind the ball as far as my desired timeline for project completion I’m still confident that things will turn out for the best. I’ve expanded the scope of what I’m doing for my clients so hopefully they’ll trust in me enough to keep the faith.
This weekend coming sees me out at the farm doing more horse tours at the sugar bush. Record numbers last week tested my vocal chords, but it isn’t supposed to be quite as warm this weekend which will keep the numbers down a little. Though my cousins express disbelief that I actually enjoy doing the tours for that many people they miss the absolute opportunity to see so much energy in one place and the opportunity to network with people that have obvious psi inclinations. Most of my cousins aren’t into psi, though they don’t disbelieve at all, so they just let me do whatever it is that I do. I always say that you should never waste an opportunity to network since you just never know when you might meet a necessary guidepost sitting upon a horse.
I did put off the Dream Class this week. It was as much for me as for the participants since I haven’t seen good postings coming out of the course quite yet. Waiting the week before getting into interpretations just lets everyone take some more time to lucid out their dreamscapes.
Hera’s last shift at her current job comes up next week and then she’s reporting to her new position. She’ll actually be gone for 10 days while she retrains so the boys and I will be on our own. Sacrifices on all sides I suppose, but it makes the future that much brighter and that’s the bottom line.
Reality is what you make it ….

Sorry for the length of time between updates, but I filled my spare time with doing tours at the farm instead of working and playing on computers for the past few days. We had a record number of people show for the Maple Syrup Festival up due to the beautiful weather and thanks to the great commitment by the family we pulled through it with spectacular effectiveness. After talking non-stop for six hours on Saturday and almost eight hours on Sunday you’d think that my voice would be gone, but thanks to the wonders of psi that just doesn’t happen to be the case. There’s another useful feature of psi in everyday life.
The first interpretation classes for the Dream Course are coming this Wednesday and I’m looking forward to seeing people open up about their dreams and the interpretation of the same.
Other than lots of fresh air nothing overly new to report. I’ve been taking the time out at the farm to Dr. Doolittle with the animals since that isn’t a skill I can work on all the time.
I do have some fun things in the wings and will report on those as they come to fruition this week and next.

First things first I suppose. It’s a Wednesday and that means I just updated the Psi Palatium Circle with this weeks Dream Course. This week includes 2500 words regarding lucid dreams for everyone to enjoy, another little quiz, and hopefully an awesome reason to get some more action on the course forums.
It’s been raining on and off for the past couple of days and though it’s supposed to be nice for this weekends Maple Syrup Festival it’s going to be a muddy one. I guess that just means I’ll get to have the joy of seeing how many women show up in high heels again this year. Not once have I been disappointed in not seeing some fashion diva show up at the festival and be completely out of her element. It’s a farm people there’s going to be mud. Canada is not such a heavily populated place that you haven’t seen farmland … and if you haven’t … get out of Toronto more!
Next week is March Break and the boys are out of school for the week, oh but the big news is that Hera (my wife) had her request for transfer go through and she has been ordered to report to her new workplace at the beginning of April. This will cut two hours a day from her commute and hopefully she’ll spend the extra time sleeping so she can catch up and be all happy and smiling. She’s had to change Ministries and shift positions entirely, but overall I know it’s a great change for her and will be much better into the future.
As for me .. I’ve been busy with psi. Knowing that I have some gatherings coming up in May I figured I should brush up on the techniques that I don’t use as part of my everyday life. I don’t want to appear too rusty in front of all my peers! I’ll keep you posted on how that’s going for me as right now during one of my sessions I’ve managed to “accidentally” set a cardboard box on fire. Thank goodness I was in the garage at the time or Hera would have been less than impressed. That’s lesson #1 for those newly married people - don’t upset the missus even when you have psi on your side!

So back in February Hera purchased tickets for Hercules (my oldest son) and I to go to the Monster Jam and watch the monster trucks — interestingly enough she bought the tickets just after that rash of deaths and increasing my life insurance (I’m sure it’s just a coincidence). At any rate tomorrow night Herc and I will be off to the arena. To say that my son is thrilled is something of an understatement since I’m quite sure his enthusiasm could easily make those with a weak bladder wet themselves from second-hand excitement. I should probably make sure to have a nap so I can keep up with him …
The maple sap is running and they’re boiling syrup again. For the 175th year the family is making syrup. I’ve been brushing up on my tour talent as I always enjoy talking to people that can’t escape me, since they’re stuck on the hay wagon, for 20 minutes at a time. I will probably have to pop out to the sugar bush just to talk to the animals and make sure they know what’s going on. No need to have deer jump out and frighten the horses .. not to mention coyotes, or wolves and what have you. Sounds a little like Dr. Doolittle I know, but someone must have realized that humans aren’t the only ones that can be understood using psi.
Being 16 degrees (Celsius for those nice people south of the border) out today it was beautiful and most of the snow has melted. We only have small mounds in the shaded areas now. The boys and I had a chance to get outdoors and dug out the tractors, bikes, motorcycles and extra cool fun stuff that we could ride around on the driveway and lawns. We got a good solid couple hours of play time in before dinner though both boys were just a little down that I refused to put everything back together in the backyard until at least after I return in May. I’m sure they can survive without mazes, trampolines, fortresses, etc for another couple of months.
And as I think about how to finish up this post the alarm begins to sound so now I’m off …

Sorry for the sporadic posting; however I’ve been working a lot lately as I attempt to keep people employed in a down market. Not to mention the new clients and looming deadline for our new programs and service contracts.
Work aside I’ve been enjoying the on again off again weather patterns of late with cold mornings and mild mid-afternoons. After dropping the boys off in the morning I generally do a few errands if I don’t have meetings right away. And then I can actually begin my day. By the time the boys are ready to come home again it’s nice enough that we can spend some time outside before dinner and then engrossing ourselves in whatever needs to be accomplished before they need to sleep.
Maple Syrup season is upon us again too. A couple more weeks and I’ll be out on the farm with the horses doing tours of the sugar bush for the .. 17th .. year (I’ve missed only one year when a meeting on the West Coast overlapped with the Maple Syrup Festival). Thanks to my departed 6th grade teacher I truly enjoy public speaking and it’s a great chance for me to talk to 10,000 people in one weekend. The years that my voice doesn’t give out on me on the Monday I usually break down and do a couple extra school tours just for fun. I suppose it just goes to show how much I enjoy the whole Syrup thing (that and the 16+ Litres my family goes through in a year).
A random post I know, but that’s where I’m at right now
