A friend of mine pointed out last night that I hadn’t updated my blog in nearly two months and people would start to think that perhaps I’d lost interest in psi, or even fallen off the face of the Earth. Let me assure all of you that I have neither lost interest in psi, nor have I fallen off the face of the Earth. I have simply been incredibly busy and haven’t squeezed updating my blog into my daily schedule. Guess it’s time that I change that up a little though.
People in other communities that I haven’t visited recently due to my lack of extra time have been asking me whether I still practice psi. This question always concerns me because psi isn’t something you pick up try a little and then put down. Psi is a way of life. Everything I do everyday has something to do somehow with psi. Whether it be intents that I’ve laid down to establish goals, or information I’ve gathered in order to do something I am constantly using psi in my life. I suppose I find myself using psi for slightly different things being a parent than I would have when I was younger. My wife and I are constantly in flux with work and personal schedules so it’s nice to be able to reconnect with her on issues of mutual interest when we clear our schedules for each other. We also like to stay one step ahead of our sons. It’s not always possible of course, but knowing what the kids are up to at any given time is a real time saver as a parent. When they were younger psi also saved loads of time in deciphering what was wrong and how we could go about soothing them. I realize that this level of psi won’t appeal to everyone since not everyone is married and not everyone has kids. But when I was younger my friend group used to use psi in order to communicate get-togethers and locations where we all were. For the younger set I was a teenager before cell phones were popular and GPS was still a secret military thing, so we would use psi for things that you’d use your smart phone for these days. Making psi an integral part of your life isn’t really that difficult, it just takes some creativity and an open mind. The benefits of a psi-life are worth the effort.
As you all know I’ve postponed the Psychic Reading course due to my full schedule and will be pushing it into 2010. I am expecting a slowdown in the dead of winter for work, so that will give me the necessary time to actually finish writing up everything. I realize that many people are anxious for new material unfortunately it does take a lot of time to put it all together, so you have to be patient. The Psi Palatium has been around for over a decade already - it isn’t like it’s going anywhere.
Those of you that haven’t joined the chat channel regularly should consider doing so. It’s a great community that can have some wonderful conversations if you start them up. Don’t be shy - there’s nothing to lose and a whole new life with psi to gain!

Okay, I really need to get this whole time thing under wraps because having hit the autumnal equinox already is simply mind boggling to me….
The boys are back in school mode and thing are going relatively well. Being up most nights myself trying to keep myself in school mode is an entirely different story. As I get older I find it a little more difficult to motivate the boys and myself. I just can’t wait for hockey season and the 7am games.
Where’s the last month gone? Well, we’ve been renovating the house and that’s pretty much zapped any spare time I have. And if remodeling the inside weren’t enough we’re also doing new fences, a patio, and gazebo over the hot tub. If anyone finds a money tree please let me know — actually never mind - it continues to be a great reason to massage reality for necessary income. Always with the psi somewhere!
Personally I’m doing wonderfully and really needing to switch focus to my quickly approaching deadline for the Circle’s fall classes on Psychic Readings. Don’t worry it’ll all work out in the end - how is a mystery. Or it will be until we know all about precognition!

My 7th wedding anniversary is Monday. Apparently they happen every year (go figure). I haven’t yet decided what we’re doing, but I still have a couple days to come up with a plan. As luck would have it Hera and I were married on the same day that we started dating, so I didn’t have to remember a new date mostly! The funnier thing about my wedding is that Hera received a reading from Rhyannon about a decade ago (the only psychic reading Hera has ever received from someone other than me) that pegged our wedding date to a “T”. Psychic readings aren’t accurate (hahaha) sometimes they can be if you hit the right chord with a person. It was a lot of fun actually because the reading was almost 6 months before I actually asked Hera to marry me, so nothing was set at all. Rhyannon may deny her skills sometimes but I still have the log of that reading that so accurately portrays several different aspects of Hera and her life - accurate, tasteful, and fun (what more could you want in a psychic reading).
Is Rhyannon the only one that can do accurate psychic readings that lurks around the Psi Palatium? No, not at all. Rhyannon just happens to be the easiest one to pick on since I have a great log of Hera’s reading! Many people these days don’t know that when the chat channel first started we had 20 or 30 psychic readers that would give an hour or so of their time every week to read for members and guests. Over the years we’ve gotten away from readings though as other things in our lives came into play and psychics have gone on to other things.
But I’d like to reverse the trend.
My want to bring things back in focus to the origins of the chat channel is the major push behind my upcoming Psi Palatium Circle course regarding Psychic Readings. Everyone can learn how to do psychic readings, especially if they’re already sensitive. And to be able to give back to other members and guests actually helps in understanding the self. The understanding in turn allows the reader to progress faster. So the cycle is great on both sides.
How else are we hoping to help the community? We’re bringing back Skywind’s Teacher/Student database. Since we have such a huge membership that doesn’t ever come into the forums, or chat we’re going to allow people to register with the database and thus hook up with other members online, or IRL to learn and progress in psi. We may bring back part of the certification program in order to allow people the Teacher designation; however the database (registration and certification if necessary) will be free of charge as always.
The Psi Palatium is always free of charge (it’s been that way for almost 14 years!) and as long as the ads continue to help with the cost of the community Hera let’s me keep it Online! Not that I’m telling you to click the ads of course *wink wink* It’s an easy way to ensure we’re here well into the future!

With the nice weather comes Hera’s famous BBQs. This coming Saturday apparently is our first one (I’m usually the last to find out - not that it makes any difference to me since I’m ready for them at a moment’s notice). A few of Herc’s school friends and their parents are coming over and bringing siblings that are Apollo’s friends — really handy how that all works out. It promises to be a good time to relax and socialize.
My neighbours are moving again. We tend to go through neighbours quite quickly as this will be the third set in three years. Not that we’re bad neighbours (my neighbour on the other side has assured me we’re the best neighbours he’s ever had in the 30 years they’ve owned their house) just that we cycle through them quickly. We live in a desirable area of affordable housing, so people are always moving in and out as the economy goes up and down. My current neighbours are moving because of job losses and economic issues. At any rate it should be interesting to see who we end up with next door. I know I could cheat and take a look, but that wrecks the fun of living life just because!
I’ve wrapped up the Dream Course in the Psi Palatium Circle. Originally I was going to run a four week course and changed it into an eight week ordeal. I’ve cobbled together a PDF that I am going to rehash and add to that will end up being over 60 pages in length. For something that was going to be 10 pages originally I think we’ve gone above and beyond but that was mostly because of the participants that wanted more and really did get involved with sending in dreams and interpreting them for themselves. I probably have enough dreams still not included to add another 30 pages to the course, but have to draw the line somewhere.
Taking over in the Circle will be Nesjamag and Svenove with Operation Psi Practice. Their enthusiasm and well planned layout should prove to be quite the program for everyone. Join it now (starts May 4th).

Not usually one to keep track of time since I tend to jump around within it I found myself yesterday marveling at the fact that we’re halfway through April already. I know that time starts to pass faster as you get older, but wasn’t really expecting it to hit home as it did. Not that its that big a deal really, it just surprised me that such a perception of time sort of jumped at me suddenly. The more I think about it though the more I realize whenever I want to take a different path with how I’m spending my time I become more aware of time in general, so in the end this isn’t a surprise at all.
I’ve decided that I’m going to wrap up the Psi Palatium’s Dream Course with one final official update on the 22nd. I’m going to be keeping the course open until I can finish and transfer the information over to the main site archives, so don’t panic. I took some time out to create a PDF book version of the Dream Course because that is something I’d like to do with all of my series and surprised Nesjamag by giving him a preview of the 42 page document - yes, 42 pages and over 20,000 words! If I can ever get around to putting Skywind’s information back into the archives and include the Dream Course the Palatium is in for a good 100 page update not to mention all of AMPsychic’s information that I have sitting in the wings.
Though I am officially taking some time off from doing direct course work I have already started sketching out my thoughts for my Psychic Readings Course that I hope to run in the Fall of 2009. Since it should begin its run right after, or in the tail end of the Psi Course run by Svenove and Nesjamag I think it will be a great opportunity for people to learn. I’ve been running the Palatium for over 12 years now and really wanted to head up courses that I haven’t done in the last decade while allowing other staff members the opportunity to flex their skill set in teaching and guiding psi (that’s why you’re getting Dreams and Readings from me).
Oh yes - don’t be afraid to comment if you wish to. I have to approve your initial comment, but after that they just appear. I’m always happy to get feedback from people

After a very very busy weekend of dashing around with the family while saving the world I’m glad to see a new week begin. I usually get some down time during work hours where I don’t have to do anything except work (or in this case blog) and it’s a nice change from the hectic order that is my life. I’m also looking forward to sleeping tonight since that’s what I have all planned out already. I keep telling myself I like to sleep so I can procure dreams for the Dream Course, but it may just be that I’m getting older.
Speaking of getting older I was at the Doctor’s and am apparently as healthy as can be expected for a person of my age. A vampire would have been ecstatic with the amount of blood that was pumped from my body to run tests on. I believe that they’ve discovered that my blood is red when exposed to oxygen - I’m thrilled by this discovery. There are still more tests to run, but apparently we have to allow six weeks between them for some crazy reason. I’m guessing that they want more blood for the vampire blood bank - yay for the commonality of my blood type.
I’ve been amassing dreams and thanks to everyone’s contributions I have 10 pages of dreams (seven actual dreams) at this point for this week that I am busy interpreting. Nesjamag seems to be really getting into the interpretations, which is awesome and others are jumping on board as well. I’m still hoping to run things for at least another week and maybe two just to create a massive example interpretation database of dreams. When the course is finished I believe I will move its content over to the main Palatium site to be included in the archives and also create a PDF of the entire course for people to download and use. Doing all of that will free up space for Sven and Nes to begin their course in the Circle.
Having fallen seriously behind on a program that I need to finish I’ve decided to recreate my work schedule to make it more conducive to finishing up the software within a reasonable time frame. This is the *big* system that will see good stuff for my company in the future, but future money unfortunately doesn’t pay the bills right now, so I’ve been forced to balance out my time carefully with it. I have no doubt I’ll get it finished and play it out as it should be — just takes time.

First things first I suppose. It’s a Wednesday and that means I just updated the Psi Palatium Circle with this weeks Dream Course. This week includes 2500 words regarding lucid dreams for everyone to enjoy, another little quiz, and hopefully an awesome reason to get some more action on the course forums.
It’s been raining on and off for the past couple of days and though it’s supposed to be nice for this weekends Maple Syrup Festival it’s going to be a muddy one. I guess that just means I’ll get to have the joy of seeing how many women show up in high heels again this year. Not once have I been disappointed in not seeing some fashion diva show up at the festival and be completely out of her element. It’s a farm people there’s going to be mud. Canada is not such a heavily populated place that you haven’t seen farmland … and if you haven’t … get out of Toronto more!
Next week is March Break and the boys are out of school for the week, oh but the big news is that Hera (my wife) had her request for transfer go through and she has been ordered to report to her new workplace at the beginning of April. This will cut two hours a day from her commute and hopefully she’ll spend the extra time sleeping so she can catch up and be all happy and smiling. She’s had to change Ministries and shift positions entirely, but overall I know it’s a great change for her and will be much better into the future.
As for me .. I’ve been busy with psi. Knowing that I have some gatherings coming up in May I figured I should brush up on the techniques that I don’t use as part of my everyday life. I don’t want to appear too rusty in front of all my peers! I’ll keep you posted on how that’s going for me as right now during one of my sessions I’ve managed to “accidentally” set a cardboard box on fire. Thank goodness I was in the garage at the time or Hera would have been less than impressed. That’s lesson #1 for those newly married people - don’t upset the missus even when you have psi on your side!

So far so good with getting things accomplished for the week.
I’ve been a busy man with work. After realizing that I somehow managed to overbook myself and promise impossible deadlines to more than one client I’ve been quite happy with both my progress and determination. While I generally don’t like to work (who does) I also dislike not being able to deliver something that I’ve promised. Speaking of that I really need to finish the “Letter to Parents” that I promised metalforever I’d write for PsionicsOnline.
Today I finally got the server back in line and posted the first section of my Dream Course for the Psi Palatium Circle. I still find it difficult to believe that the time for it got here so quickly. I purposely set it originally so far away so that I would have time to complete everything else on my plate and create a new series for the Palatium. I am really looking forward to the interaction the moogle Circle format will allow everyone in sharing experiences, dreams, and suggestions. After seeing how this newly crafted five week course goes I’ll see about timelines for a new course in psychic readings.
Having had my oldest son under the weather for a few hours before both he and my wife decided that he needed to be better quickly brings about useful reason #498 for psi. Does anyone remember Urtho’s endless random uses for psi that he used to sporadically throw out into the channel?
It turns out that for my 16th time doing tours at the farm this year we’re returning to a two week format, which will see me talking constantly for 24 hours (no joke) when everything is finally wrapped up. Anyone that knows me realizes that this isn’t really an issue for my voice, nor me as speaking whether in public, or private gatherings is what I’m good at. Still it’s quite the tiring time to be wrangling the horses and talking at the same time. For the first time ever we had the horses spook last year and ended up on a wild galloping ride for a few minutes until Graham and I were able to get the horses responding again (useful reason #499 for psi). No one was hurt and thankfully all but three people on the hay wagon were from the “big city” and didn’t realize that getting covered in mud as we careened through the fields wasn’t part of the intended ride (yay for continuing to talk through the whole ordeal - at least multitasking has taught me something useful). This year we’re moving to the bigger wagon so those big ol’ horses don’t have as much of a chance at running for the hills (and I don’t have to use some mysterious skill to continue standing without holding on on a wildly jumping wagon).

It’s been a busy couple of weeks since I last posted — or days — it depends who’s timeline you’re following. I have been attempting to keep things going in this blog, but sometimes I just don’t feel like typing out what’s going on. To be brutally honest I forgo typing for sleep.
But I’m back and this past weekend saw Apollo’s birthday come and go. My youngest son received all sorts of things from the huge throng of people that seemed to flock to the house for cake and ice cream drizzled with maple syrup. Sometimes it’s difficult to think of the boys growing up so fast, but they have to at some point or I’ve really screwed up an intent somewhere!
This week sees me once again placed “on call” so I will be relatively non-existent in the community. I’m actually not overly looking forward to being outside as it is -25C at the moment and the wind is throwing it into the -30s. Of course we all do what we must and I’m sure I’ll only complain more about it the older that I get (isn’t that an old person’s right?).
Work continues to throw new curves at me and that always keeps things interesting …. which brings up a great point that I get asked a lot. If I can do psychic readings of people’s futures, and read guide posts, etc why is it that I can be surprised by things in my own life? It’s a fair question and actually has a two part answer. The first thing is that I am psychic and NOT all-knowing. There are a lot of things that I do not see, or hear about - I just happen to have a really great safety net of people to fill in the blanks for me. The second part of the answer is that knowing your own future is absolutely no fun what-so-ever, so I rarely look into my life (beyond the necessary evils of keeping myself alive). With the thousands upon thousands of psychic readings I’ve done through the community I can count on my hands the number of times that I myself have received a reading about my life (and then usually only as a means of letting a new reader practice).
I’m looking forward to getting the Dream Course underway in the Circle and should have things back in working order for Wednesday. It’ll cut a couple days out of people’s practice time, but since it’s the first round I don’t think it should matter much.
That’s all for now - stay strong!
